Prayer Notebook app good for
I really enjoy this app as it helps me to try and stay consistent in my prayer times. I wish there was an option to set an end date on a prayer like if I wanted to pray for something for a specific number of days and then it would be archived.
This app has really helped me to keep my prayer commitments. Now when I tell someone I will pray for them, its actually true because Ill enter it in my Prayer Notebook and get daily or weekly reminders.
I love this app! It has really helped me be more intentional with my prayer life and not missing important dates (a test or surgery date). My only complaint is that the app shuts down every time I try to sync a request with a contact. A fix on that would be awesome! Otherwise, I give it a thumbs up!

I will never forget to pray for someone going into the hospital and it is much easier to have my prayer list on me on the go. B4 I took o photo of my note book now much easier to read and pray. Great idea prayer will bring down the power of God! Imagine if we can do this as a city country entire church body! In Jesus name!
This app is amazing, but please, please, please can you make it sync with my MacBook?!? It took me forever to type out all the things I want to pray for on my phone! And now Im writing this review! Ah! Neck cramp....
Some bad moments
If you want to good app try Day One. This app a lot lacks a lot of functionally.
NEGATIVES:
The developers of this app continue to market a non-existent feature. Im calling shinanagins on those reviewers who say the sync feature works just fine. No doubt in my mind that they are company planted reviews designed to allow them to continue to make false claims.
Ive had this app over a year. Thats more than enough time to subcontract a vendor who can accomplish what they cant.
Do they have a tab for a sync feature? Yes. Do they provide the capability? No. Are they ever going to? ??!
I dont care who you are deceiving, its not right. Praying people? Maybe that borders on exploiting a demographic that is more trusting and forgiving. That makes this all the worse to me.
POSITIVES:
Very aesthetically pleasing, with great ability to schedule and organize.
Love the way it can pull photos from my contacts through the capability of linking each prayer entry to a contact. I am very visual, and this is helpful.
CONCLUSION:
Despite these positive elements, I would not buy this app today. If I had it to do over, I would opt for an app that has the ability to sync over all my devices.
Trying to add a contact to a prayer makes the app close and stop working.
Just paid $2 for this app and it has not been updated to work with the new software. Very disappointing!
So many great things about this app. Some of my favorites - not only can you set alerts for individual prayers but you can also schedule to have prayers and/or categories display only on specific days; this gives you a single view of everything youve set to pray about for that day. So if you have lots of prayer requests and its a challenge to pray about every single one of them every single day, this feature is of tremendous value. I also really appreciate being able to designate a prayer as answered rather than simply deleting it, which gives you an opportunity to occasionally look back at all the Lord has done and be encouraged. Clearly a lot of thought went into the interface and it paid off. The iCloud synchronization is fantastic, too.
Why did I only give it 4 stars then? (I would give it 4.5 stars if I could.) As much as I appreciate how well the interface functions, Im not so crazy about its design graphically; its certainly polished but it doesnt flow visually very well with iOS 7 in my opinion. Its better suited for the skeuomorphic days of iOS 6 and earlier. I suppose it should be no surprise then that this app supports iOS 5 and later.
So to sum up, I dont think youll find a better iOS prayer app than Prayer Notebook. Enjoy!
Great app! Easy to use and keeps my prayer life organized. Would like to suggest a means to check off prayers that are completed for the day. When I have a big list I need to break it up during the day and would like to know which I have completed.
